Itinerary:
Morning:
- 8:00 AM: Meet your guide and driver at your hotel in Bale Mountains National Park.
- 8:30 AM: Drive to the Sanetti Plateau, the highest plateau in Ethiopia.
- 9:30 AM: Hike to the top of Mount Tullu Dimtu, the highest point in Bale Mountains National Park.
- 11:30 AM: Enjoy a picnic lunch on the Sanetti Plateau.
Afternoon:
- 12:30 PM: Visit the Bale Monkey Sanctuary, where you can see the endangered Bale monkey.
- 2:00 PM: Visit the Harenna Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- 3:00 PM: Go on a nature walk in the Harenna Forest and look for wildlife such as the Ethiopian wolf, mountain nyala, and giant molerat.
- 4:30 PM: Return to your hotel in Bale Mountains National Park.
